Sandy Lane Equestrian - Riding for Disabled Accessibility Mark

Sandy Lane Equestrian provides riding opportunities for less abled adults and children, which have been shown to boost both mental and physical well being. Sandy Lane Equestrian works with local special needs schools and also provides lessons on an individual basis. Research shows that riders experience significant positive change in confidence, communication ability and relating skills as well as physical improvement in balance, coordination, posture and core strength.

All prospective riders must complete a rider application form, which requires a signature from a medical practitioner who knows the person concerned well. Carers must be in attendance, and on site at all times and follow same codes of conduct as riders.
